Runge’to Farmers Co-operative Society was registered in 1997 after the liquidation of the giant Ngariama Farmers Co-operative Society.

From the city of Nairobi. It lies on the slopes of mount Kenya about 1650 meters above sea level which has fertile volcanic soil and clean flowing rivers.

The society has 3,557 members comprising of 1911 male and 1646 female.Rungeto Farmers Co-operative Society has 3 coffee wet mills with the following membership.
